When did being or becoming a homemaker become a minus? When did tending a feverish peevish child become less important than conducting a board meeting?
I’m saddened to say: in my lifetime.
No-one wants to return to a time where a wife could be beaten and everyone pretends not to know or a kindergartner hides in a closet until her parents return from a night on the town. However, I think we threw the baby out with the bath water.
Homemaking requires a whole gaggle of skill-sets, both physical and intellectual And, for the woman who wants to add another layer of spirituality, even more is required.
The scriptures describe such a paragon as the Virtuous Woman and attaches a hefty value to her. PROVERBS 31:10-31
The Latter Day Homemaker has both a more arduous task and a heaping hand-basket of support.
I just know in my heart there are women spread across the globe who have the Lord in their hearts, hope in their soul who want their homes to be bathed in the Spirit. The Lords needs you and I welcome you.
