I’m from a tiny Missouri burg, and I still just LOVE IT.  Sure, I had some harrowing experiences growing up, but I also met Jesus, learned lessons that would guide me through life’s struggles, and cemented life-long friends who are more like siblings.

So, I’m happy as a kitty in catnip to be going “home” for my first official book signing.

On March 14, smack in the middle of St. Patrick’s Week (I tend to celebrate week-long holidays) from 1 pm to 3 pm, I will be at the Missouri Made Shop and Comfort Cafe in Cole Camp, Missouri along with new colleague and author Randy Linss. We will be signing our respective books and greeting old friends and new.

Daddy Trails begins with growing up adventures in Cole Camp. Oblique and straightforward lessons I learned from stink bait to spoonbills–froglegs to friends.

So, come on down to this lovely historic town. If you misplace the address, no worries. It’s right on Main Street…you can’t miss it.

I just love it when new books arrive!!

I LOVE planners!! I have decades of past planners and, yes, occasionally, I look up something in them!  I did that just last week. But, I had a conundrum…I had a regular day-to-day-author-farmer planner, then I had a planner for my duties at church.  Arrrggghhh, two planners. Plus, I keep a calendar on my phone. […]

Oh, my goodness, I totally loved this movie. It has everything…romance, courage, motivation, heart. I was initially interested because of my newfound Hispanic heritage, but it drew me in and touched my spirit. This movie is not a contrived superhero saga, but a superhero emerges. A real living, breathing superhero. The Hernández family works long […]

by John Heinerman If you like Latter-Day Saints historical accounts, this book is for you. I enjoy journal entries as it puts me in their shoes, so to speak.  The book ties the LDS belief in the “Word of Wisdom” to specific foods and shows the evolution of its practice. I was slightly disappointed as […]

Forged in Love is the first of three sweet romances* in the Wyoming Sunrise Series. I love cowboys. I love the smell of leather, the sound a saddle makes when you “mount up”, the rolling hills and sweeping valleys of horse country. I also appreciate the harsh reality of forging a living in the country […]

I love historical fiction. And, this one is special because it’s about the author’s family. The story wound itself within the double helix of Emily Beeson’s family and emerged in this beautiful poignant tale of love, heartache, and redemption. The heroine, Ellen Breakell, sat in their family pew guilt enveloping her like an evil shroud. “Maybe […]

Catherine has done a beautiful job in bringing her brother, Charlie, out of a nightmare’s darkness into the light that only love can accomplish. She gives us the opportunity to know him as she does, to see and feel his great spirit, to look beyond the uncertainty, and grab hold of the essence that is […]

Oh, my goodness how I love to read!!! In addition to the obvious, (books) I collect memes, jokes, cartoons, and essays, about books! And, I know some of you do, too. I get lost in author’s bios and author’s how-to’s and author’s stories. Of course, I love to write as well–guess books and writing […]

To say my first book signing was a little out of the ordinary is like saying Alice knew exactly what she was doing when she went down the rabbit hole. Check it out here.

A TEMPUS CRYSTAL, Domus Book 1, Coming 2024. It’s original format offers a totally new reader experience–one I hope will be educational in addition to entertaining. And, it’s a CLEAN FANTASY of which I’m very proud. It’s hard to find a grown-up fantasy that isn’t splattered with gratuitous sex and violence. Tempus Crystal is […]
