I received comments from readers that it was not an option when they tried to buy “Daddy Trails” on their Kindle.
What? Of course, you can buy books from Amazon on your Kindle. That’s the point!
After several complaints, my in-house research-and-tech expert (hubby, Gary) investigated.
As it turns out it’s GOOGLE’S fault. They initially wanted 30% of the sale for every book purchased through the Kindle app that had been downloaded from Google Play. Everyone has to get their fingers in the pie. Even after Google negotiated down a bit, in the end Amazon said no thank you. Therefore, no one can purchase a book directly from the app.
So, dear readers, you may simply go directly to Amazon.com to buy your eBooks, in this case, “Daddy Trails”!!
